March 26, 2024 - The New Sweden Cemetery Maintenance District will hold a regular meeting at 8:00 a.m. on April 1, 2024, at the New Sweden Cemetery. The New Sweden Cemetery is located at 33rd S 35th West, Idaho Falls, ID. The following items will be on the agenda:
Cleanup of cemetery
Review and approve minutes from November 28, 2023 meeting
Discuss tree removal
Review results of letters to heirs
Review and approve proposal for vesting unclaimed lots in cemetery
Clarify policy for number of cremains per grave
Develop policy for assisting owners in sale of unused graves
Discuss the condition and repair of the veteran's memorial
Discuss conversation with John Arrington and canal easement
Propose date for next board meeting
