has worked for the cemetery in various positions for over 40 years. He became a board
member in 1991 and has been instrumental in developing the new sections of the

Jeff Bryant - District 2
Jeff Bryant has lived in the New Sweden area since 1988. He was elected to be on the New Sweden
Cemetery Maintenance District Board as Commissioner #2 in 2012. Cemetery service tends to run in
families, and Jeff's is no exception. His step-father was a cemetery sexton and
Jeff worked for him while in high school. Jeff's father-in-law was also a cemetery president. Jeff has
been doing family history related research for over 45 years, including posting New Sweden Cemetery
memorials on Findagrave.com. |

Terry Howard - District 3
Terry Howard was raised in the New Sweden area and attended the New Sweden grade school. As
a young man he served a two year mission in New Zealand for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter
Day Saints. He then spent five years in Boise where he graduated from BSU.
He has been an active member of the cemetery board since May 2021 when he was appointed
Commissioner for District #3. Terry admits he has limited experience with operating a cemetery,
however he has a vested interest as two loved ones are buried there. He has spent the
last several months learning the cemetery business and has quickly become a valued
member of the team. |
